VW Performance Dyno Tuning

What is Dyno Tuning?

At WPVW we offer a dyno tuning service for your classic VW. Dyno tuning involves driving the car onto a specialised machine called a dynamometer, or dyno for short. The dyno determines the amount of power that is being produced by measuring the wheel acceleration force (torque) and speed. This allows us to make tuning adjustments to the engine and see in real time how these adjustments affect the way the engine responds.

What are the benefits of Dyno Tuning?

Dyno tuning offers many performance benefits such as:

• Improved throttle response
• Smoother running
• Better overall driving experience

By tuning your VW on the dyno, we are able to make fine tuning adjustments and measure how the engine responds. This optimises the tune in a way that is not possible with regular road tuning. Our dyno tuning service is available for all aircooled VW's, from a stock 36hp oval beetle, to a 500hp+ turbocharged drag car. The above benfits apply to all cars.
